Newcastle United have reportedly enquired about taking Chelsea duo Tammy Abraham and Billy Gilmour on loan deals.
Both players are recently-crowned Champions League winners but have struggled for game time under Thomas Tuchel, with Abraham only featuring seven times since the German's arrival at Stamford Bridge.
Gilmour has also seen limited minutes having only played 12 times for Chelsea during the just-completed season, however Tuchel did block loan offers for the Scotland youngster in January and is keen to develop the 19-year-old as a Blues player.
According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle hope to entice Chelsea into agreeing a loan deal by using the successful spell of Joe Willock as an example of what the club can offer to young players going to St James' Park on a short-term basis.
Despite the Magpies' interest for a loan deal involving the Chelsea pair, it is believed that the London club would prefer to sell Abraham, who is valued at £40m.
Many clubs have shown interest in the English forward including West Ham United, but his price tag is proving to be an obstacle in any deal at this moment. body check tags ::
