Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud is reportedly on the verge of striking an agreement with Inter Milan.
The 33-year-old has struggled for football at Stamford Bridge this season and is widely expected to leave Frank Lampard's side either in January or on a free transfer at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
A number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the France international, who has scored just once in seven appearances for the Blues this term.
However, according to L'Equipe, the 2018 World Cup winner is now close to reaching a contract agreement with Inter as the Italian side seek support for Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez in the final third of the field.
Giroud would join Inter on a free transfer next summer if the two parties agree a contract in January, although the Frenchman could arrive at San Siro next month providing that Antonio Conte's side settle on a transfer fee with Chelsea.
The striker is believed to be keen to secure regular football in the second half of the season ahead of France's Euro 2020 campaign.
