Reading executive Samrit Thanakanchanasut has revealed that Chelsea are keen to recall Michael Hector from his loan spell at the Madejski Stadium.
The defender joined the Premier League champions on transfer deadline day at the start of September from the Royals, but was immediately loaned back to the Championship side for the 2015-16 season.
Thanakanchanasut told Goal: "Chelsea want him back early but I think we'll retain him as we agreed until the end of the season."
Hector has made 16 appearances in all competitions for Reading so far this season.
