Chelsea have reportedly increased their offer for Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi to £15m.
A recent report claimed that the Blues had made an initial bid of £10m for the Italian international.
However, after being rebuffed by Roma, Chelsea have now upped their bid to £15m, according to the Daily Express.
It is believed that the Blues manager Jose Mourinho has been a long-term admirer of De Rossi, who has been capped 84 times for the Azzurri.
