Thibaut Courtois reportedly fears that his future plan to play for Real Madrid may be in doubt due to the club's pursuit of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
The Chelsea shot-stopper has established himself as the Blues' number one, ahead of Petr Cech, after spending three loan spells at Atletico Madrid.
According to the London Evening Standard, while Courtois is happy at Stamford Bridge, the Belgium international's agent is getting word out to discover if Real could be interested in the 23-year-old.
The report has claimed that Courtois eventually wants to return to Spain to join either Real or their La Liga rivals Barcelona, but the shot-stopper feels as though his opportunity will be dashed if De Gea moves to the Bernabeu.
Chelsea have reportedly tried to warn Real off their number one by slapping a £73m price tag on the player.
