Chelsea attacking midfielder Mohamed Salah has reportedly moved a step closer to completing his move to Roma.
Salah is expected to leave Stamford Bridge before the beginning of the new campaign after spending the second half of last season at Fiorentina when the arrival of Juan Cuadrado pushed him further down the pecking order.
Fiorentina were among the clubs reported to hold an interest in the Egyptian, but The Mirror claims that Roma have held promising talks with Salah's agent.
However, the report suggests that the Serie A club have still not agreed a fee with Chelsea for the 23-year-old.
Salah has made just 19 competitive appearances since joining Chelsea from Basel in January 2013.
