Chelsea are reportedly considering an approach for Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge when the January transfer window opens for business.
The 28-year-old has found game time hard to come by for the Reds this season and is believed to be available for transfer, with a host of clubs - including AC Milan, Valencia and Real Beits - all thought to be keen.
According to the Daily Mail, Sturridge is among the options being considered by Blues boss Antonio Conte for next month as he looks to replace Michy Batshuayi.
The England international moved to Anfield from Stamford Bridge in a £12m mid-season deal in 2013 but has since struggled with injuries, featuring in fewer than half of the side's league games during that time.
Sturridge is said to be open about his future away from Liverpool and would reportedly consider a return to the capital if an offer materialises.
