Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has ruled out adding to his squad in the January transfer window to replace the injured Ramires.
The Brazilian midfielder has been ruled out for a month with a medial knee ligament injury.
However, Villas-Boas has dismissed the idea of buying a replacement late in the transfer window. The Portuguese manager insists that he has enough options in midfield to cover the loss of Ramires.
"We used Florent Malouda in midfield, and have Frank Lampard and John Obi Mikel to return," said the former Porto boss.
"We have enough numbers to cope with it.
"If we add Florent to the midfield options then even without Rami we have six midfield options."
Ramires will miss Chelsea's Premier League match at home to Manchester United on Sunday.
