Birmingham City have sent young defender Will Packwood to Cheltenham Town on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old American has played just once for the Blues this season after making 12 league appearances for them last term.
Speaking about his new signing, Cheltenham boss Russell Milton told the Robins' website: "I have been looking at the games we have coming up, with three in eight days and I felt we needed cover in every position.
"There will be some rotation and Will fits nicely into that. I have had some very good reports about him and I've seen him play a few times myself."
Packwood is the second Birmingham player to leave the club on loan today, following Callum Reilly's move to Burton Albion.
