Chile striker Mauricio Pinilla has accused Brazil communications director Rodrigo Paiva of punching him during the half-time interval of Saturday's round-of-16 clash in Belo Horizonte.
It emerged yesterday that FIFA was investigating the incident and now Pinilla has weighed in.
"Mr Rodrigo Paiva, chief of press for Brazil, assaulted me with a punch in the tunnel for no reason," tweeted the Chilean.
"FIFA can't tolerate this sort of delinquent. FIFA have to intervene in something so serious. You can't have any old moron attacking a player, even less so a chief of press."
Paiva was quoted yesterday admitting that there was an incident, but insisting that he only pushed the former Hearts striker.
