Chivas USA have continued their fine start to the season with a 4-1 victory against the Chicago Fire at Toyota Park.
Chicago were searching for their first win of the campaign and spurned a series of chances to take the lead in the first 45 minutes.
Jeff Larentowicz, Wells Thompson and Chris Rolfe all went close but were unable to break the deadlock before half time.
Chivas made them pay after 58 minutes when Edgar Mejia scored the opening goal with a strike from distance.
The home side responded and were quickly level through Patrick Nyarko, who successfully converted a precise cross from Sherjill MacDonald.
With 20 minutes left, Chivas pushed for a winner and took the lead with a measured header from Joaquin Velasquez.
Two minutes later a win on the road for Chivas was secured thanks to Juan Agudelo's neat finish into the bottom corner.
Jalil Anibaba turned into his own net late on to complete a resounding 4-1 win for Chivas.
