Colorado Rapids have extended Chivas USA's winless streak to 13 games with a 2-0 victory at the Home Depot Center.
The visitors scored both the goals in the first half and Chivas failed to respond in the second 45 minutes.
The first goal came in 16th minute when Jaime Castrillon flicked on a Tyson Wahl's cross from the left flank to Martin Rivero, who beat goalkeeper Tim Melia with ease.
Kamani Hill doubled the Rapids' advantage two minutes before the half-time interval when he headed home Omar Cummings's delivery from close range.
Chivas could have halved the deficit in the early minutes of the second half, but Juan Agudelo failed to keep his header from just six yards on target.
The result does not have a meaningful impact on the standings of either team, as both Chivas and Rapids are out of contention for a playoff spot in the MLS.
