Chivas USA have failed to move off the bottom of the Western Conference after a 4-0 defeat to the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place.
An early goal set the tone for the rest of the match as Kenny Miller picked out Gershon Koffie, with the Vancouver midfielder finishing well from the edge of the penalty area.
The Whitecaps had numerous chances to double their lead but Camilo Sanvezzo twice missed opportunities from close range.
Dane Richards did extend the visitors' advantage before the interval by firing in a low shot that Dan Kennedy failed to stop at the near post.
Chivas enjoyed more possession at the start of the second half but the Vancouver defence were rarely troubled, with Jay DeMerit leading the back line well for the away side.
A third goal came on the hour mark when a cross from Richards was converted by Sanvezzzo to end any hopes of an unlikely comeback.
Sanvezzo turned provider for the fourth goal as the midfielder delivered an inch-perfect cross for Barry Robson to complete the rout.
