Coventry City have appointed Mark Robins as their new boss on a three-year contract.
The League One club have been without a manager since Andy Thorn was sacked at the end of August.
Caretaker boss Richard Shaw was reportedly one of three names on the shortlist, but City's recent form – they currently sit second from bottom in League One – damaged his prospects.
Robins has previously managed Rotherham United and Barnsley.
