A non-operating subsidiary of Coventry City has been placed into administration, the club has confirmed.
However, a spokesman has insisted that the League One side itself has not been affected and will continue to operate as normal.
"It is important to stress that the football club itself is not under threat," read a statement on Coventry's website.
"This is merely a property subsidiary which owns no material assets and has no employees, on or off the pitch.
"The Club can confirm that all staff wages, PAYE and all other creditor commitments will continue to be met as before by Coventry City Football Club Holdings."
Coventry are currently in eighth place in the League One table, three points off the playoff places.
