Gary McSheffrey and Marlon King both scored against their former clubs as Coventry City and Birmingham City shared the spoils at the Ricoh Arena this afternoon.
Both sides struggled to create any goalscoring chances of note during the opening 45 minutes of the Midlands derby.
However, the deadlock was eventually broken by the home side in the 70th minute. Carl Baker sent over a cross which Coventry winger McSheffrey was able to convert with his head.
Coventry's lead only lasted two minutes though, as striker King tapped the ball in from close range following a pass from Peter Ramage.
Oliver Norwood went close to sealing the three points for Coventry as the game drew to a close, but his drilled effort struck the post.
The visiting Blues ended the match a man light when substitute Jordon Mutch was handed his marching orders in the 89th minute for serious foul play following a challenge on Alex Nimely.
