Coventry City have confirmed that Rory Donnelly has returned to parent club Swansea City for "personal reasons".
The striker, 21, was due to spend the rest of the season with the League One side after signing a loan deal on Friday.
"Rory has returned to the club for personal reasons," said a Swansea spokesman.
"We are grateful to Coventry City for their understanding and professional handling of a matter that was out of their control and we thank them for their co-operation."
Donnelly's only appearance this season came for Swansea during their Europa League defeat to Petrolul Ploiesti back in August.
