Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Championship fixtures, including West Bromwich Albion vs. Coventry City.

Millwall vs. Sheff Utd (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Wednesday's Championship predictions including West Brom vs. Coventry

Aiming to build a lead at the top of the Championship table, Sheffield United will travel to The Den to take on Millwall on Wednesday.

The visitors regained top spot on Sunday in a 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion, while their hosts dropped to 11th place following a defeat at the weekend.

We say: Millwall 1-1 Sheffield United

With fixtures continuing to come thick and fast in the Championship, we anticipate a tight contest at The Den between two sides who have excelled defensively.

While the visitors arrive in a stronger position and in better form than their hosts, Chris Wilder's men may again be pleased to come away from another tough away trip with a share of the spoils.

Cardiff vs. Preston (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Wednesday's Championship predictions including West Brom vs. Coventry

Cardiff City play host to Preston North End on Wednesday evening looking for the win that could move them clear of the relegation zone.

At a time when the Bluebirds sit in 21st position in the Championship table, the visitors are in 17th place on the back of four consecutive draws.

We say: Cardiff City 2-1 Preston North End

Having put together an unbeaten streak, Preston can travel to South Wales with a certain degree of belief. However, we feel that Cardiff's extra rest period will bode them well here, leading us to predict a hard-fought victory for the Bluebirds.

Hull City vs. Watford (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Hull City will welcome Watford to the MKM Stadium on Wednesday for an important game at both ends of the Championship table.

The hosts remain at the foot of the table after suffering a sixth straight defeat at the weekend, while the visitors find themselves just outside of the playoff spots after seeing Saturday's trip to Cardiff City postponed.

We say: Hull City 1-1 Watford

Potentially lifted by the arrival of Selles, we back Hull City to, at least, end their run of losses on Wednesday and pick up a share of the spoils on home turf against a visiting side who have enjoyed the much stronger season thus far.

QPR vs. Oxford Utd (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Looking to record back-to-back wins for the first time in the second tier this season, Queens Park Rangers will welcome relegation rivals Oxford United to Loftus Road on Wednesday night for a Championship clash.

The R's managed a surprise success over free-scoring Norwich City on the weekend in the capital, whilst the U's domestic adventures were impacted by Storm Darragh at Plymouth Argyle's Devon home.

We say: Queens Park Rangers 2-0 Oxford United

After the much-needed home success over Norwich on the weekend, QPR will be viewing the visit of Oxford as a major opportunity to secure consecutive wins, despite a host of attacking absentees.

The U's will be fresh and raring to fight in the capital after Saturday's cancellation, but we feel that Buckingham's troops will suffer defeat at Loftus Road.

West Brom vs. Coventry (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Aiming to climb back into the playoff spots after a bizarre run of results, West Bromwich Albion will clash with fellow Midlands side Coventry City at The Hawthorns on Wednesday night.

The Baggies managed a hard-fought share of the spoils with Premier League-chasing Sheffield United on Sunday, one day after the Sky Blues collected three points from a difficult trip to Millwall.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 1-0 Coventry City

After a respectable share of the spoils with division-leading Sheffield United, West Brom should be confident of putting Coventry to the sword on Wednesday night.

The Sky Blues had to battle extremely hard for success over Millwall, and we feel that Lampard's side will struggle to repeat the trick at The Hawthorns.
