Crawley Town chief executive Michael Dunford has revealed that defender James Hurst is in talks regarding a move to Norway.
The League One club agreed terms with Hurst this week to cancel his contract at Broadfield Stadium after failing to feature for the club since Boxing Day.
Dunfold told the club's official website: "James is now looking to further his career elsewhere and is talking to a club in Norway.
"We wish him all the best and thank him for his services to Crawley Town."
Hurst also made one appearance on loan at Northampton Town before being made a free agent.
