Leeds United's Nicky Ajose and Watford's Uche Ikpeazu have completed short-term loan moves to Crewe Alexandra.

Ajose, 23, has joined the Railwaymen until January 5, while 19-year-old Ikpeazu will stay at Gresty Road until January 25.

Crewe manager Steve Davis added the strikers to his squad before tomorrow's emergency loan deadline as he looks to steer his side away from the bottom of League One.

Ikpeazu enjoyed a stint on loan with Davis's side last season, netting four goals in 15 games, while Ajose moved to Elland Road in the summer for £150,000 after scoring 17 goals last season for Swindon Town and Peterborough United combined.

Both Ikpeazue and Uche will be available for Crewe's clash with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
