Croatia boss Zlatko Dalic has insisted that his team can stop England captain Harry Kane in Wednesday night's 2018 World Cup semi-final in Moscow.
Kane has scored six times for England at this year's World Cup, and will be looking to fire his team into the final of the competition when the Three Lions take on Croatia.
Dalic's team have already prevented Argentina's Lionel Messi and Denmark's Christian Eriksen from progressing in the competition, however, and the Croatia head coach has backed centre-back pairing Dejan Lovren and Domagoj Vida to deal with the Tottenham Hotspur forward.
"It will be very hard, he is the top scorer and the best England player, alongside [Raheem] Sterling," Dalic told reporters.
"Dejan Lovren knows him and plays very well paired with Domagoj Vida so I am not concerned about stopping English players - we stopped Messi and Eriksen, and we'll try to do the same with Kane."
Croatia have needed penalties to beat Denmark and Russia in the last two rounds of the competition.
