Emmanuel Adebayor has described Crystal Palace's victory over London rivals Watford in the FA Cup semi-final as a "beautiful" result for the club.
The Eagles set up a meeting with Manchester United in next month's final by claiming a 2-1 win at Wembley Stadium on Sunday evening.
Palace took a risk of sorts when signing Adebayor in January on a free transfer, but the Togo international - previously linked with a move to Watford - has played his part in what is turning into a memorable cup run.
"For me it's beautiful," he told BBC Sport. "I came back here six months and have a chance to play in the final for this beautiful club. I am so glad we have made it.
"The manager convinced me to come and play for the Eagles. I am very happy to be part of this team. Against Manchester United it's going to be a beautiful one."
Connor Wickham headed home the winning goal on the hour mark after Troy Deeney had cancelled out Yannick Bolasie's early opener.
