Joe Ledley has urged his Crystal Palace teammates to get to a cup final this season.

The Eagles progressed to the fourth round of the League Cup with a 4-1 victory at Charlton Athletic, and although they face Manchester City in the next round, Ledley believes that his side stand a good chance of going all the way.

"I think this club need a Cup final at Wembley now, just to get there and see how we go," Ledley told the Evening Standard.

"The club have been doing everything right and it would be nice to see how we did.

"I made an FA Cup final with Cardiff when we were playing in the Championship and, it doesn't matter who you play, you just need a little bit of luck and you can leave with the trophy."

Ledley has made 48 appearances for Palace since joining the club in the 2014 January transfer window.
