Eberechi Eze is happy at Crystal Palace, despite links with Newcastle United, according to a report.

The 23-year-old has only made five appearances in the Premier League this season due to the fact he has been injured for the majority of the campaign with an Achilles' problem.

According to the Evening Standard, Eze is happy at Crystal Palace right now, being content at the club with no desire to leave, despite the fact Newcastle are interested in him.

The Magpies have been keeping tabs on the winger, and they were preparing a £45m bid in the summer, after an attempted loan move in January did not end up taking place.

However, the Eagles see him as a key part of the squad, despite the fact he has only made one start under Patrick Vieira so far this season.

Crystal Palace will be back in action on Saturday when they face Chelsea in the Premier League. body check tags ::
