Crystal Palace forward Dwight Gayle has praised the team for fighting back from two goals down to beat Burnley 3-2 at the weekend.
The Eagles eased their relegation fears on Saturday as they secured a dramatic victory at Turf Moor. Gayle found the net twice for the visitors - including the winner two minutes from time - to help them move up to 12th place in the table.
"It's a massive three points because it's a dogfight down there but it proves we can come from two goals down and shows our great character," he told the club's official website.
"We came out and we didn't start right but after that we got the ball down and showed that we could play. We just continued that in the second half and luckily we got the win. The team is helping me out to get my goals and hopefully I can continue doing that for them."
Palace are in FA Cup action this Saturday when they travel to Southampton in the fourth round.
