Crystal Palace have reportedly held initial talks with Martin O'Neill and Tony Pulis over the vacant manager's position at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles have been without a boss since Ian Holloway stepped down from the role last week following their 4-1 defeat to Fulham.
Palace chairman Steve Parish has identified O'Neill and Pulis as the best two candidates for the job, and has spoken to them both, according to The Guardian.
It is believed that O'Neill's salary demands place Pulis as the favourite to take over the post after holding the discussions with Parish on Monday.
