Tony Pulis has said that he was pleased with Crystal Palace's "resilience" during their win over Hull City in the Premier League this evening.
Jason Puncheon scored the only goal in the 1-0 victory, which moves the Eagles up to 14th in the table.
"We are pleased. The resilience the players showed tonight was absolutely first class. We were together and showed a lot of spirit," BBC Sport quotes the manager as saying.
"We have been really pleased with Puncheon because, since the penalty miss, he has picked himself up and the two games since he has been wonderful.
"We are pleased but we have seen again today that we have played a team with a lot of quality. We have 23 points, we need another 17 and it is going to be difficult, we know that."
Palace travel to league leaders Arsenal on Saturday.
