Brighton & Hove Albion striker Stephen Dobbie reportedly nears a permanent move to Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway is reportedly close to securing the signing of Stephen Dobbie on a permanent transfer.

Dobbie, who joined the club on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion in January, missed the Championship playoff final win over Watford after his contract expired.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the former Blackpool attacker is close to signing a two-year contract with the Eagles.

Dobbie has scored three goals in 15 appearances for the club this season.
