Owen Garvan has refused to dismiss speculation that has linked him with a return to Ipswich Town.
The 26-year-old made 175 appearances for the Tractor Boys between 2004 and 2010, when he signed for Crystal Palace.
He still has one year left to run on his contract at Selhurst Park, but he has been made available for transfer by the Premier League outfit.
That has resulted in speculation that a number of Championship clubs are keen on his services, including his former team Ipswich.
When asked by the East Anglian Daily Times about Ipswich's reported interest, the midfielder replied: "I spoke to Mick (McCarthy) earlier in the year but for whatever reason the move didn't happen. I'm not ruling anything in or out at the moment."
Garvan made just three appearances in all competitions last season.
