Heracles have beaten De Graafschap 1-0 in the Eredivisie after Iliass Bel Hassani's 83rd minute goal.
De Graafschap's Cas Peters attacked from the first whistle and his long-range effort was saved by Bram Castro.
Thomas Bruns was lively in attack for Heracles and tested Hidde Jurjus in the 26th minute.
Former Hearts player and England youth international Andrew Driver, who now plies his trade with De Graafschap, tried to get in on the action before half time but headed over the bar.
Both attacks struggled to make any headway in the second half. Robin Gosens failed to hit the target on two occasions and Youssef El Jebli also shot off target at the other end.
Bel Hassani finally broke the deadlock in the 83rd minute when he beat Jurjus to give Heracles the victory.
