A third-minute goal has given Blackpool a 1-0 lead over Derby County at half time in their Championship meeting.
The visitors won an early free kick near the touchline which Thomas Ince curled in towards Isaiah Osbourne, who headed the ball into the far corner to give the Tangerines the breakthrough.
Derby looked to respond quickly, applying plenty of pressure inside the Blackpool penalty area, but they were unable to find a swift equaliser.
As Paul Ince's side pushed for a second they lost the ball, allowing the hosts to launch a counter-attack as Simon Dawkins made a run towards goal, but the on-loan striker could not get the shot away.
The Rams continued to look threatening as the final minutes of the first half passed, but Steve McClaren's men could not get back on level terms before the break.
