Derby County have confirmed that midfielder Jeff Hendrick does not require surgery on his injured shoulder.
The 22-year-old dislocated his shoulder on Saturday during the Rams' 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town in the Championship.
The Republic of Ireland international is now expected to be back in action at the end of the month.
"After undergoing a series of tests and visiting a specialist earlier this morning, it has been confirmed that Jeff Hendrick will not need to go under the knife in order to return to fitness," read a statement on the club's official website.
"He will instead work on a short rehabilitation with the Rams' medical team at the training centre. It is expected that the player will be available for selection again within the month of September."
Derby continue their Championship campaign on September 14 when they travel to league leaders Nottingham Forest.
