Tom Ince has insisted that he will one day "prove people wrong" with his performances when he moves on in the future.
The 23-year-old struggled to make an impact in the Premier League during his first season at Hull City last year.
He has since been shipped out on loan to Championship side Derby County, but he believes that he has shown his qualities on the pitch.
"I felt people were very quick to judge me on whether I was good enough for the Premier League," Ince told The Ram.
"I came here and I was given an opportunity really early on and it was important for me to show what I can do on the football pitch.
"In the future, whether it be at this football club or somewhere else, if it is in the Premier League, then I hope I can take the next step and prove people wrong at that level."
Ince began his career at Liverpool.
