Derby County manager Steve McClaren has praised his players for getting back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Rams responded to last weekend's defeat to Leeds United with a resounding triumph on Saturday as three first-half goals saw them claim the spoils.
The result has kept Derby at the top of the Championship table, one point clear of Ipswich Town.
"It was a great reaction after last Saturday," McClaren is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"It was important we started well with lots of energy, and we did that. We knew we would create chances, but could we be clinical in front of goal? We certainly were in the first 20 minutes."
Derby continue their promotion bid next Saturday with a trip to fourth-place Middlesbrough.
