Barnsley have completed the signing of Derby County midfielder James Bailey on a free transfer.
Bailey has penned a two-year deal at Oakwell, and despite the club's relegation from the Championship last season, the former Crewe Alexandra trainee has insisted that he was convinced to move to Yorkshire by Danny Wilson's 'exciting plans' for the Tykes.
The 25-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm really pleased to sign and can't wait to get going.
"The manager has outlined his plans and they're really exciting. I want to be a part of what he is building here and get back into the Championship."
Bailey leaves Derby having made 64 appearances for the Rams since his arrival in 2010.
