Derby County have completed the signing of midfielder Jacob Butterfield from Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old, who has penned a four-year contract with the Rams, scored seven goals in 50 appearances for Huddersfield after joining the Terriers from Middlesbrough in 2014.
"I'm delighted that we've been able to bring Jacob Butterfield to Derby County," coach Paul Clement told the club's official website.
"As I've stated publicly in the last few weeks, if we were going to add to our squad it would be a case of making a quality addition rather than bringing someone in just to make up the numbers. In Jacob, we have a very talented player and an individual that is experienced at Championship level."
Butterfield made one appearance for England at Under-21 level four years ago.
