Doncaster Rovers manager Darren Ferguson has expressed his disappointment at giving Millwall a "free win" in their clash at The Den this evening.
A first-half double from Steve Morison gave the hosts a 2-0 victory, with the first goal coming by way of an error from 34-year-old Rovers goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann, and Ferguson believes that his side could have performed better on the night.
"We've given them a free win really," Ferguson told reporters after the match. "I've not seen anything like the first goal - and from our most experienced player.
"We kept the ball a bit too well. We had a chance to frustrate Millwall and go from there. We want to play common sense football.
"The fans stuck with us. They need results and positive football but the final ball needs to be better."
Doncaster will take on Colchester United in their next League One fixture on Saturday.
