Falkirk manager Peter Houston has insisted that his side did not deserve to lose to Dumbarton following their 1-0 reverse at the Bet Butler Stadium.
The Bairns were turned over by a late Archie Campbell strike, but Houston is adamant that the bad weather also played a role in their downfall.
"We're very unlucky to lose the match. I can't believe it. With the elements, it's a shambles of the game. The wind ruined the game," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"I feel desperately sorry for the players because I don't feel it was a game we deserved to lose."
Falkirk remain a point behind fellow playoff hopefuls Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship.
