East Fife and Rangers have played out a goalless first half in today's Scottish League One meeting at Bayview Stadium.
The visitors dominated the early stages and almost opened the scoring on 12 minutes when Dean Shiels dragged his shot wide of goal.
However, East Fife came to life soon after as Gary Fisher sliced his half-volley narrowly wide following some indecision in the Rangers box.
Ally McCoist's side then hit the post twice in quick succession with 29 minutes on the clock when Nicky Law and Bilel Mohsni were both denied by the woodwork.
David Templeton squandered two chances for the Gers towards the end of the half, before Lee McCulloch guided a header wide.
