Bayern Munich have won the Bundesliga title with a narrow 1-0 away victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
The win sees the Bavarian giants remain 20 points clear at the top of the table with six rounds of matches remaining this season, thereby making themselves unassailable.
The visitors could have surged ahead in the 10th minute had Xherdan Shaqiri's shot from the edge of the area not come off the post.
Two minutes later, it was Frankfurt who could have made the breakthrough had Karim Matmour done better with his volley.
Bayern were handed a great chance to pull ahead in the 26th minute when they were awarded a penalty after Marco Russ brought down Thomas Muller inside his own area. However, David Alaba saw his spot kick strike the Frankfurt post and go out for a goal kick.
Bayern, continued to dominate proceedings at the Commerzbank Arena and broke the deadlock in the 58th minute, Bastian Schweinsteiger flicking Philipp Lahm's delivery home with the back of his heel .
Shaqiri thought that he had doubled Bayern's advantage in the 76th minute with a shot from a narrow angle, but his effort was ruled out for offside.
That did not affect that final result, though, as Bayern wrapped up their first Bundesliga title in three years.
