England cruised to a 3-0 victory away to Bulgaria in their Euro 2012 qualifier, with Wayne Rooney scoring a brace.
Fabio Capello's side went ahead after 13 minutes when Gary Cahill snuck in behind the Bulgarian defence to score.
The hosts nearly levelled five minutes later when Martin Petrov flashed a shot wide.
Rooney extended England's lead on 20 minutes, capitalising on some poor defending to head in from a corner.
The tie was effectively over in first-half injury time as Rooney tapped in at the far post, thanks to Manchester United teammate Ashley Young's incisive pass, to make it 3-0.
Bulgaria posed little threat throughout the game and the visitors could have added more goals in the second half when Stewart Downing hit the post with a header and Theo Walcott failed to get a shot away in the box.
England now lead Group G by three points after Montenegro lost 2-1 to Wales.
