Roy Hodgson has declared himself pleased after watching England ease to a 2-0 victory over Estonia at Wembley.
After clinching Euro 2016 qualification, Hodgson made a number of changes and his fringe players battled to the win to protect their 100% record in Group E.
Theo Walcott and Raheem Sterling were the scorers for the hosts, who have now recorded nine successive wins in qualifying.
"It was as tough as we thought it would be. Estonia were well organised and they're a team that is intelligent in the way they play," Hodgson told reporters.
"We had to work hard, we attacked a lot, we had a lot of the ball and had a lot of chances. I thought we were good value for our 2-0 win."
England can become just the sixth side to complete qualifying with a 100% record if they beat Lithuania on Monday.
