Harry Kane has admitted that he is in "a bit of a daze" after marking his England debut with a goal against Lithuania this evening.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker scored less than two minutes after coming off the bench in Roy Hodgson's side's 4-0 Euro 2016 qualifier victory at Wembley.
The 21-year-old told BBC Radio 5 live: "I'm just proud. A dream come true. It's a special night and definitely one I won't forget. It's what you dream of as a kid, it's a bit of a daze and enjoying every minute of it.
"I've worked hard to be here. It's been a great week. I was excited to play and to score is a dream come true.
"The boss made his decision and I had to get on with it and when called upon be ready. To be able to repay the fans is amazing."
Kane is the joint-top scorer in the Premier League so far this season with 19 goals.
