The agent of Guus Hiddink has claimed that he has not been approached over the vacant England manager's job.
Fabio Capello resigned on Wednesday night after over four years in charge of the team.
Reports soon surfaced which suggested that Hiddink would be interested in the position.
However, Cees van Nieuwenhuizen has said that no contact has been made by the Football Association.
"It does not seem apparent, but that is my personal interpretation," he told Voetbal International
"I have seen the reports on the internet this morning but I know nothing further. I have no idea where this came from. It comes completely out of thin air. I've definitely not been approached."
Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp is the overwhelming favourite to succeed the Italian.
