Sports Mole looks at how the squads of England and USA compare ahead of Friday's World Cup clash between the two sides.

England will be looking to build on their sensational opening-day performance when they take on USA in the second round of Group B fixtures at the Al Bayt Stadium on Friday.

Gareth Southgate's men stormed to a 6-2 victory over Iran on Monday to announce their presence in Qatar and also end a run of six consecutive games without a win.

Meanwhile, USA were held to a 1-1 draw by Wales on Monday, when Gareth Bale struck from the penalty spot to cancel out Timothy Weah's first-half opener and deny the Stars and Stripes all three points.

Gregg Berhalter's side, who have now failed to win any of their last four matches across all competitions, will set out to pick up their first win over England since 1993 and get their campaign up and running.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the squads of England and USA weigh up against each other ahead of Friday's matchup.
