Poland legend Zbigniew Boniek has insisted that his grandson moves better on a football pitch than Andy Carroll.
England face Poland on Tuesday evening with Carroll in contention for a place in the starting lineup, but Boniek has revealed that he is not a fan of the 23-year-old striker.
Boniek told The Telegraph: "My eight-year-old grandson Mateo moves better on the pitch than Andy Carroll.
"Mateo is very good at golf and tennis. He has better co-ordination."
Boniek, who scored 24 goals in 80 appearances for his country between 1976 and 1988, is poised to become the next president of Poland's Football Association.
