England and Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will reportedly be out of action for between 10 days and three weeks.
There were initial fears that the 20-year-old would be out for a number of months following the challenge from Carlos Gruezo in England's 2-2 draw against Ecuador on Wednesday night.
However, according to Sky Sports News the injury is not as bad as first feared, although if he is out for the full three weeks then Roy Hodgson could send him home from the Three Lions' World Cup squad.
England's World Cup campaign gets underway on June 14 against Italy.
