Former Poland keeper Jan Tomaszewski has said that he does not think Artur Boruc will be able to keep England at bay and scupper their chances of reaching next year's World Cup.
The 65-year-old famously denied the Three Lions a place at the 1974 tournament in West Germany with a number of heroic saves in a 1-1 draw at Wembley.
Poland once again stand in England's way of reaching Brazil, but Tomaszewski - dubbed a "circus clown in gloves" by Brian Clough - believes that a repeat result is unlikely.
"Artur is one of the best keepers in the world," BBC Sport quotes Tomaszewski as saying. "But can he stop England on his own? No.
"I made mistakes in 1973, but my teammates saved us. Our defence isn't so good now. Artur must rely on himself."
Three points on Tuesday will see Roy Hodgson's men beat Ukraine into first place in Group H.
