Steven Gerrard has said that Raheem Sterling will have a big future for England after the impact he made in their opening World Cup clash.
The 19-year-old was widely regarded as England's best player during their 2-1 defeat against Italy and his Liverpool teammate was impressed with his positive display.
"He is fearless - that's the way he plays," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "That is his character. He doesn't worry about opponents.
"For his first start in a major tournament there were flashes of positivity. He's a big player for the future."
