England captain Steven Gerrard has urged fans not to get carried away following their qualification to the World Cup.
The Three Lions booked their place in Brazil next summer with a 2-0 win against Poland on Tuesday night.
However, despite back-to-back wins, the Liverpool midfielder has asked supporters not to get ahead of themselves.
"It's important that [enthusiasm] doesn't flip and people get carried away," Gerrard told Sky Sports News.
"We're going to the World Cup and it's a great feeling to be in Rio, and hopefully we can get there with a little less pressure on ourselves.
"Those games away from home against Poland, Ukraine, and Montenegro, they were the tough games, we haven't played fantastically well, but we havent't been beat and they were important results."
Meanwhile, striker Wayne Rooney revealed the delight inside the Three Lions' camp following the result.
